William Eby is a 23-year-old composer from Rochester, New York. He has composed music for a wide range of ensembles, including solo, chamber, and large ensemble works. In addition to his classical compositions, Will has composed numerous tracks in Logic using orchestral samples.

Project highlights include“Rise Again,” which was premiered by the Houghton University Chamber Choir in April 2024 and was selected to be performed at the 2024 CFAMC Conference. Will’s piece, The Life of a Loved One, was named Best Original Composition in the TI:ME 2022 Composition Festival, where Will was named an outstanding young composer. Reunion of Fire was premiered by the Houghton University Wind Ensemble under the direction of Dr. Timothy McGarvey in December 2024.

Currently, Will is working for the Rochester Philharmonic and pursuing a career in arts administration.
